Installation

Install Flow from the ZIP package.

Use a desktop Chromium browser. Download the ZIP, extract it, and load the folder from the extension manager.

Before you start

Use a desktop browser and keep the folder.

Chrome and Edge load an unpacked extension directly from the extracted folder. Move that folder to a permanent location before installation so it is not deleted or renamed later.

  • A desktop computer running Chrome, Chromium, or Microsoft Edge
  • The latest Flow ZIP package
  • Permission to enable Developer mode in the browser
Step 01

Download and extract the package.

  1. Download the latest ZIP.Use the button below and wait for the file to finish downloading.
  2. Extract the archive.Do not select the ZIP file itself in Chrome. Extract its contents first.
  3. Move the folder.Store it somewhere permanent, such as a dedicated Applications or Extensions folder.

Step 02

Load the extracted folder.

  1. Open the extension manager.Enter chrome://extensions in Chrome or edge://extensions in Edge.
  2. Enable Developer mode.Use the toggle shown in the extension manager.
  3. Select Load unpacked.Choose the extracted Flow extension folder, then confirm.
  4. Pin Flow.Open the browser extensions menu and pin Flow for quick access.
  5. Complete device approval.Open Flow and follow the authorization message shown for this browser.

Select the folder that contains manifest.json. Choosing its parent folder is the most common reason Chrome reports that the manifest is missing.

Updating

Replace the files when a new build is published.

Unpacked extensions do not update automatically. Keep the same folder location, replace its contents with the files from the new ZIP, then reload the extension.

  1. Download and extract the new ZIP.
  2. Replace the old extension files.
  3. Open the extension manager and select Reload.
Troubleshooting

Common installation checks.

Manifest file is missing

Choose the extracted folder that directly contains manifest.json, not the ZIP file or an outer parent folder.

Load unpacked is not visible

Enable Developer mode in the extension manager. On a managed work device, your administrator may disable this setting.

The extension disappeared

Confirm the extracted folder was not moved, renamed, or deleted. Restore it to the original location and reload the extension.

Device approval is pending

Keep the exact message shown by Flow and contact Digicoan support with the browser, operating system, and extension version.
